I made four profile codes with pictures by Rachael Herbert. Each profile is available in two versions: one with a border and one without it. Please don't remove the credit for the pictures. NOTE: In the image preview, the first title is centered. In the code, it is not. This was a mistake I noticed after making the preview.

I didn't find a tutorial for this, probably because I don't know what I should call this. Here's an image of what I want. I really don't know what it's called, but that.. area at the top of my journal, that dark grey one. I edited it there with PSP to show what I mean. It's just a quick example... I want it and a text and my default userpic to show there too. And I have no idea how to do this. I'm very new to paid account stuff like styles and layers. I've created a theme layer, but that's it. Also, another tiny thing. How do I replace the small icons, like the icon next to a locked entry or a user name, with different ones? | |

SOLVED!!I looked trough the comm and I think it was not asked before (Sorry if it was already asked) Im having troubles with the length of one of my entries. I use the customized comment page and didn't manage to find how to make it long enough to support the entry. ( more precisions this way )Thank you in advance!! | |

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me out. I'm having trouble figuring out how to change the date format. I tried to use the fancy date tutorial but I couldn't get it how I'd like it. I just would like to change it from the current format of: 12th-Jul-2009 03:39 am to "| %%day%%, %%month%% %%dayord%% (%%yyyy%%) | %%hh%%:%%min%%:%%sec%%%%a%%m |". My theme layer is here. - Date format solved.Also, could someone please help me with adding (No Subject) when the subject is blank? I'd been using Flexible Squares for a while so I'm very new to using Smooth Sailing so I apologize for the lack of structure to my theme layer. Thanks for your time! | |

Hi there! I have just a couple of questions. 1. Is there any way to make the background color around the advertisements transparent? 2. I'm having a problem with my subject line. See, in the first, most recent entry at the top, and only the most recent one not the rest of them, there's not as much padding as I'd like. I'm not sure how to fix that and there may not be a way to, but I thought I'd give it shot. :\ Here's some visual aid:  | |

Sorry for bothering, but I have a small question/problem.
Can you change the size of userpics in comments? On my recent entries page and friends page the userpics are 70px x 70px, but I cant seem to change their size in comments. .userpiccomment img doesn't seem to work, or then I just dont know what I'm doing. :) Help? | |

I'm using a slightly modified stylesheet from velvetb0x, here, with this theme layer. I've got everything pretty much figured out, except that when I opened the page up in Opera, the non-flocked post subjects aren't showing up, and the text of the entries is all smooshed up into the space of one or two lines. This is my current layout, here but I would like to change my currents & tags to this:  When searching I have come across solutions involving layers & long codes. Two totally unrelated questions.
1. Having successfully achieved the gets-the-tags-on-separate-lines hack, I want to know if they can be bulletted, so they match the recent entries box. Is that undoable for a free user, or is there a way to stick those in?
2. Having found this journal, I find myself enamored of the way all the entries, sidebar boxes, etc. have their own this black border all the way around. How is this accomplished? And once again, can it be done on a free journal?

I want to use symbols [>>] instead of words for the skip forward/back links in my footer, but when I try to use them, they're coming out in html [ >>] instead. Is there anyway I'll be able to use the symbols, like using my theme layer somehow? This is the layer currently. | |
